Re: Watchmen movie reaction (sort of)
Sun, March 29, 2009 - 12:08 AMThe Watchmen movie reminded me of an old Christmas Special where Santa's reindeer are watching their children trying to fly. In the scene a little baby reindeer runs and jumps, soars for two second and then lands on his face. The coach reindeer says, "Not bad for the first time!"
Yeah, not bad for the first time. Hopefully the second or third time (and a more faithful Watchmen version) will be better! -

I think an 8 hour miniseries - animated ideally - would be just about right. Or better yet, 12 hours, one for each issue. -

Re: Watchmen movie reaction (sort of)
Thu, April 16, 2009 - 12:07 PMThey've already done it.
It is called Watchmen Motion Comic
(you can buy it on itunes)
They have a guy reading the whole graphic novel and have
a visual often motion or animated shot of every frame in the book.
it is quite excellent -

Re: Watchmen movie reaction (sort of)
Fri, July 17, 2009 - 11:08 AMJust got the motion Comic. IT is out on DVD now and wow is it really great.
Also just rewatched the movie.
It of course fails on many levels but DAMN it is not like other movies
and that makes it great.
So sick of the same thing all the time.
Looking forward to watching it with black freighter cut in.
Cheers.
